Responsibilities:
Design and build our xMove Test Systems inhouse in our facility in Mölndal
Set up the test environment to perform factory acceptance testing
Connect the test environment to a simulation environment (vehicle, road and road conditions) and ensure that performance requirements can be met
Ensure that the test environment can be controlled from the test framework
Help users troubleshoot problems in the HIL environment,
Help set up bench setups for easier testing of controllers

Experiences:
Good knowledge in test system development and electrical engineering
Good knowledge in the NI hardware and software tool chain
Experience in LabVIEW and/or Python programming
Experience in software testing

Job Description
As a field application engineer you will assist, consult and support ALIARO’s customers in Stockholm. It is a role that requires technical leadership, strong relationship management skills, and personal drive. In this role, your main activities will include:
- Supporting customers both onsite and remotely.
- Consulting customers on how to best solve their issues/needs when using the systems delivered by ALIARO.
- Provide guidance on how customers can become more proficient in testing their products.
- Ensure mutual customer and ALIARO success by building trust and relationships with customers.
As technology is constantly developing, it is key that you stay up to date with industry trends, function as the voice of the customer and share their feedback to ALIARO R&D. This ensures we can continue to deliver value and high-quality solutions that meet customers’ current and future needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the ALIARO sales team to support them from a technical perspective.
- Consult customers as they collect, interpret, and refine their technical requirements.
- Support customers during the specification process. Provide recommendations on software and hardware architectures. Share best practices with respect to the test system development process.
- Build relationships with technical stakeholders through demonstrating technical knowledge and credibility.
- Provide feedback to ALIARO R&D to ensure that our products meet customer’s current and future needs.
- Identify improvements for ALIARO’s systems using your own observations and customer feedback.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, ideally in electronics, mechatronics or mechanical. Or have an equivalent amount of experience from time in the field.
- Experience with NI software (LabVIEW, TestStand, VeriStand).
- Experience with NI and third-party hardware.
- Software engineering skills, ideally capable of developing in multiple languages (C#, Python, etc.) and utilizing common industry tools (such as MATLAB/Simulink).
Preferred Qualifications
- NI Certifications (CLD, CLA, CLED).
- Experience with automotive or aerospace test applications (both validation and production).
- Experience with electric vehicle validation and production applications.
- Experience with HIL systems.
- Experience creating models and deploying these to electronic control units or line-replaceable units. Visa mindre
