About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Manager, Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Specialist plays a pivotal role in developing effective programs to drive awareness and adoption of Transoft’s Aviation product line(s) for success within the airport and airspace planning and operations communities. The Product Marketing Specialist liaises regularly with Product Management, Regional Marketing, and Sales to understand the voice of the customer (i.e., their expectations, needs, pain points, and overall product experience) and create compelling content and messaging that positions our products for success. They seek to know the market and target audience exceptionally well to develop Go-to-Market plans for highly specialised software.
In this role you will be expected to:
· Assist with developing the product marketing strategy, including a marketing plan and content, for assigned or new products; Understand the target market, to create personas and develop messaging and content that is specific to their needs;
· Utilise data, customer insights, and input from industry experts to guide decision-making and align marketing strategies and tactics with the overall product strategy;
· Develop impactful marketing initiatives to enhance product awareness and drive product adoption and loyalty across multiple product lines;
· Collaborate closely with market experts and product specialists to generate concepts and write compelling copy that speaks to the various personas to drive awareness, consideration, adoption and retention;
· Collect base material from internal stakeholders to shape the product positioning and core messaging;
· Craft engaging and conversion-focused copy for social media to thought leadership and search engine optimization;
· Contribute to the development of product assets that support the customer’s journey and showcase the unique value propositions, features, and benefits of the products;
· Provide sales enablement assets and support to the Sales team;
· Monitor and report metrics and effectiveness on product marketing activities;
· Conduct market research, gather industry trends and insights to support content creation and marketing efforts;
· Act as a product champion.
About You:
· You have a Bachelor's or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Technical Writing, or equivalent;
· You have 3+ years of product marketing experience within a B2B environment; bonus points for candidates with software, aviation or technical product marketing experience.
· You have 2+ years of experience working with marketing automation and analysis software.
· You have experience with project management, productivity, or task management solutions such as Asana.
· You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, including demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and tactfully.
· You are fluent in English (verbal and written communications), but other languages would be an asset.
· You are able to work in an international and matrix environment with a cross-regional team.
· You must be able to juggle multiple projects with the ability to prioritise and work well under pressure within a team setting.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As a member of the product marketing team the Product Marketing Assistant supports all marketing activities that contribute to raising product awareness, delivering go-to market plans and meeting business objectives for the aviation business unit.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Product Marketing Manager with planning, executing, and monitoring marketing initiatives and product launches.
Contribute to content strategies for different platforms, including social media, website, adverts, emails, case studies and more.
Create and run email campaigns using a marketing automation tool and maintain the marketing database.
Use a CRM system for managing and sharing leads with the sales team.
Help organise and coordinate events such as webinars, user training and customer conferences.
Support SEO, SEM and paid social initiatives, and post regularly on social media accounts.
Assist in the preparation of sales enablement materials specific to the buyer journey and in collaboration with regional marketing teams.
Learn and work with various types of software for digital marketing, including google analytics.
Evaluate data and create reports on key metrics to measure campaign efficiency and analyse trends.
Assist in monitoring and enhancing product demand, building the pipeline and carrying out competitive research on market trends and advancements.
Provide administrative support for a variety of marketing activities.

EXPERIENCES AND QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor’s degree in Business or an equivalent field or working towards it.

ABOUT THE ROLE
The Product Marketing Manager (Aviation) plays a pivotal role spearheading effective programs to position Transoft’s aviation products for success within the aviation community. Acting as the voice of the user, the Product Marketing Manager (Aviation) manages a small Aviation marketing team and liaises regularly with members of Transoft’s other Marketing teams, Aviation Product Management, Sales, and Development to create compelling content and messaging that positions our products for success. They seek to know the aviation market exceptionally well and understand how audience members think, who exactly they are, where they are, and what value they seek from our highly specialized aviation software.
ABOUT YOU:
You have a passion for marketing and are an independent, creative person who isn’t afraid to take initiative and come up with new ideas. You are a storyteller and can translate technical content into messaging that connects to a critically technical audience. You have a flexible attitude and can change your approach quickly as new information and assignments are presented. The job is at times fast paced with tight deadlines, so an organized approach and a can-do attitude is important.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively, respectfully, and tactfully.
Exceptional skills at planning, organizing, implementing and communicating integrated marketing plans across business lines and departments.
Proven ability to manage and implement marketing plans that align with product strategies and product lifecycle.
Able to work in an international and matrix environment with a cross-regional team.
Has the ability and experience to manage a diverse and close knit team across multiple time zones.
Must be able to juggle multiple projects with the ability to prioritize and work well under pressure within a team setting.
Understanding of Google Adwords and Google Analytics is a plus
High energy with the capability to flourish in a dynamic, growing organization.
Ability to travel globally may be required from time to time.



EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors or Diploma in Marketing, Business, Technical Writing or equivalent required. Bonus points for candidates with aviation industry experience. MBA a plus.
5+ years of product marketing experience within a B2B environment is preferred. Software marketing experience is an asset. Pragmatic Marketing certification is a bonus.
5+ years’ experience working with CRM and Marketing Automation software.
Has experience in planning, managing, and executing events such as expos, online events, and conferences.
Experience managing and mentoring a small team.
Experience with project management, productivity or GTD solutions such as Asana, Wrike, Basecamp. .
Proven experience with social media tools such as LinkedIn, Facebook and Twitter.
Proven experience launching new-to-the-world products.
