The roleWe are looking for an experienced supplier quality engineer. You will be working with suppliers to set up high quality, robust production processes during the development of new products. You will also be responsible for responding to supplier needs during development and mass production, as well as addressing quality defects from suppliers. You will additionally be responsible for improvement projects with suppliers, audits of new and existing suppliers, and be expected to help Plejd with its legal supply chain obligations. There is the additional opportunity to help shape Plejd’s supplier quality processes as we grow.
In addition to this supplier quality work, you will act as one of our quality engineers for our own in-house production, performing incoming/out-going inspections, responding to operator questions, performing root cause and improvement work as needed, and developing quality-related processes along with the production team.
Occasional travel to suppliers both within Sweden and abroad will be required, but overnight stays will be rare.
You must be structured in your way of working, because we expect you to be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Additionally, we expect that you are a quick learner who doesn’t need to get the same instruction twice. As an Advanced Process Control Engineer, you will have a lead technical role in our delivery projects and in supporting the performance of our installed systems. Your responsibilities
Support the initial analyses of process performance and opportunities for improvements in the sales phase of a Project.
Act as a lead engineer with the functional responsibility within a project for process analyses, control specification, application adaption and functional tests.
Commissioning of the system at the customer plant with model identification, controller programming, control tuning and verification.
Responsibility for data collection and results analysis, providing the base for reaching contractual performance guarantees.
Operator and Engineer training.
Communicate activities and results to the customer project team and process operators.
Conduct regular service audits and activities on the installed systems as well as assuming assignments to change and improve existing systems within our service operations.
The work is carried out partly in the office, with remote connections to customer sites and partly travelling to customer plants distributed all over the region.

Your background
Master’s degree in engineering or equivalent preferable in control theory.
Prior work experience from the pulp and paper industry is a merit.
Prior work experience with PLCs/DCS (IEC 61131) programming is a merit
Knowledge in Matlab, Python, and other modelling tools is an advantage.
Knowledge in first principles modeling and previous experience in production planning an optimization is an advantage.
You are fluent in both English and Swedish.
Ability to present results, based on theoretical analysis and performance evaluation, in a comprehensive and straightforward fashion.
As a person you are both analytical, experimental and innovative.
Strong communication skills

Om rollen

Ansvarsområden:

Join our QA Team! We bring out the best in people with our effort to make people smile. We are currently looking for several Quality Engineers in our Quality Assurance organizations, Dentsply Sirona. The Quality Engineers will be based in Mölndal Sweden.
The main objective for the position is to secure Quality Assurance for Products and Processes within DentsplySirona Implants. The Quality Engineer (QE) will work close with Manufacturing and either lead or take part in Improvement Projects.
As a QE you will work in a Global Environment and be part of a cross functional teams. Implementation of new way of working requires close cooperation with other functions either local or global. Close cooperation with other Manufacturing sites within the Dentsply Sirona organization.
Responsibilities:
Perform Process and System Improvements.
Facilitate root cause investigations for CAPA and NC Process.
When needed, lead and coordinate market actions when occur.
Perform QA review of Process Validation activities.
Actively be part in Design Transfer activities with QA knowledge.
Participate as QA representative in New Development Project.
Act as Internal Auditor according to audit plan.
External Audits, be part of preparation, execution and follow up.
Document Control, provide knowledge and support to the organisation.
Manage Calibration Process and secure compliance.
Support Manufacturing team with QA knowledge and guidance.
Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA).


Who you are
For this role in a truly global business environment, we look for qualified candidates with a relevant background:
An academic degree in engineering or equivalent professional background
experience from working in the medical device industry and have knowledge about
ISO 13485, 21 CFR Part 820 and EU Medical Device Regulation 2017/745
experience from Product and Process Validations
trained in Six Sigma, Gauge R&R and MiniTab
knowledge in measurement techniques for medical device
excellent communication skills as the role requires close contact with several functions/sites
participation in and experience of Audits from external parties
good communication in English as well as Swedish, both written and verbally.


If you have worked as a Lead Auditor and/or have good knowledge in the statistical area this is an advantage.
We look for a colleague with analytical skills, attention to details and the ability to work both in cross functional team and independently. We believe that you are a positive and social person with the ability to maintain good relations with both external and internal contacts. Om jobbet
I rollen som konsult ingår du i ett team som arbetar med problemlösning och metodutveckling i uppdrag och utvecklingsprojekt. Vi arbetar med analys och rådgivning inom bland annat utmattning, brottmekanik, degradering, materialmodellering och optimering av program för livslängslängdsförvaltning.
Arbetet är omväxlande och drivs som projekt i grupp eller genom egna uppdrag. I rollen som expert och rådgivare till våra kunder inom industri och infrastruktur stöttar du dem att arbeta fram bra beslutsunderlag samt dokumenterar resultat och rekommendationer. En del av verksamheten är inriktad mot metodutveckling och uppdragsforskning.
Tjänsten innebär tätt samarbete mellan dig, kunden och övriga medarbetare inom Kiwa och kräver att du är aktiv i din kommunikation. Arbetet medför en del resor främst inom Sverige, men även utlandsresor kan förekomma.

Vi söker dig med
· Civilingenjörs-, mastersexamen eller PhD
· Minst fem års arbetslivserfarenhet med inriktning mot strukturell integritet och utmattning.
· God erfarenhet från beräkning med FEM, exempelvis Ansys, Abaqus
· God förmåga att uttrycka dig på svenska och engelska i såväl skrift som tal


Det är meriterande om du är/har
· Erfarenhet från industrier som olja & gas, processindustri, kärnkraft, fordonsindustri, infrastruktur
· Erfarenhet av att skriva tekniska rapporter och god kommunikativ förmåga
· Kunskap om tillförlitlighet för system
