Om rollenSom testingenjör hos oss kommer du att arbeta med att testa och verifiera våra produkter enligt både externa regleringar och våra egna kvalitetskrav. Rollen har ett starkt fokus på mätteknik, elektronikkunskap och programmering, där du kommer att utföra tester med hög teknisk noggrannhet. Du kommer att arbeta nära våra andra testteam på hårdvarusidan för att säkerställa kvalitet och funktionalitet i våra produkter.
På Plejd är testning och kvalitet ett högprioriterat område och vi låter kvalitetsarbetet genomsyra stora delar av utvecklingsorganisationen. Som del av hårdvarutestteamet blir du en viktig länk i kedjan mellan idé och produkt.
Exempel på arbetsuppgifter:
Utföra tester på våra produkter enligt gällande regulatoriska krav och interna kvalitetsstandarder.
Planera och genomföra mättekniska tester.
Använda programmeringsspråk (främst C och Python) för att anpassa och automatisera tester.
Felsöka produkter och identifiera eventuella avvikelser
Utveckla tester och testsystem för våra produkter.
Om dig
Vi söker dig med en teknisk bakgrund inom elektronik och testning, antingen genom utbildning eller praktisk erfarenhet. Du kan ha:
Elektrikerutbildning (gymnasial, YH) eller motsvarande kunskap.
YH-,högskole-, eller civilingenjörsutbildning inom elektronik, mätteknik eller inbyggda system.
Studerat eller jobbat som automationstekniker.

Du har praktisk erfarenhet av felsökning och testning av elektronikprodukter samt mätteknik med instrument som oscilloskop och multimeter. Grundläggande kunskaper i C och Python för att anpassa och automatisera tester.
Vi söker en självgående och initiativrik person som gillar att hitta nya sätt att lösa problem och driva förbättringar. Du är inte rädd för att testa, göra misstag och lära dig på vägen. Du har enanalytisk och lösningsorienterad inställning och trivs med att samarbeta tillsammans med våra testteam för att säkerställa produktkvalitet.

About the position
Your task as an Application Engineer will be to strengthen our ability to install, develop and test automation solutions together with our customers. You will also be teaching and developing our e-learning offer together with our global organization. You will become an expert in the use of our products and will have a wide network of contacts with our customers and within Kollmorgen. Since we do have customers all over the world, this position will involve traveling. You will be located at our office in Mölndal, Sweden.

In your daily work you will:

- Installing, developing and testing automation solutions.

- Teach and develop e-learning offers.
- Be an expert in the use of our products - the link between our customers and R&D.
- Support through our Help-desk.
- Hands-on work in the test area, e.g., with programming or electrical and mechanical settings.

We are looking for you

To be successful in the role, you are outgoing, structured, hands-on, and like to work independently as well as in a team - no two days are alike. You are a person who wants to be engaged in daily work and priorities. Taking the initiative to use new skills and continually improve your performance comes natural to you.

It is crucial that you are able to travel for periods up to 3 weeks.

Must have

- Engineering degree within mechatronics or other similar education
- Handy ability shown through previous hands-on practical experience besides work/study
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Basic knowledge of a high-level programming language
- Driving license B


Meritorious

- Experience of C#, C, C++ or PLC programming
- Experience of customer contacts
- Other languages than English is considered a merit

The role:
In this role you will work with Plejd’s current regulatory team to ensure Plejd’s products meet compliance requirements for the markets in which they are sold. The work will include, but not be limited to:

- Reviewing regulatory requirements for new products/markets
