About the position
We are introducing novel technology which brings new capabilities to reveal answers to questions in research labs. You will become our user’s best friend in the process of learning how to make the most of our instrument. We have the expert users within the team who have been working with the technology for many years, so you will learn from them and help our users getting the details right.
Supporting users will be your main priority, but it will not fill your entire week and in a startup, we all have a broad responsibility. Inherent in our customer support is to run experiments in our own lab on samples from their labs for root cause analysis and application evaluation. Your tasks will also include testing and evaluating our software and hardware during the development process. You will also perform quality control before product shipping.
In summary, there will be varying tasks including customer interaction, lab work, data analysis, and software and hardware testing. There will also be travelling to some extent. About you
Required
• Service minded with a clear customer success focus

• At least a bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering or a related field
• Wet lab experience
• Attention to detail
• Professional level of English

JOB DESCRIPTION
The role is a well-balanced mix of researcher and business developer. Your responsibility is to grow our business, mainly targeting the Swedish market. Nanolyze is located in Gothenburg, but you can have your location also in Stockholm or Malmö depending on your preference. Since we are constantly pushing the boundaries, you will need to be active in finding out what is possible together with our customers. You will work closely with the CEO to build the business together. You will also collaborate with the product development team, our researchers, and technical support. The role as scientific business development manager is a key role and you will enter the company at an early stage. This means that you to a high degree will contribute to building the team and the company culture.

We provide state-of-the-art technology to state-of-the-art application research. Therefore, you will need to have a scientific profile with experience in biological or medical applications involving nanoparticles (LNPs, liposomes, exosomes, or viruses etc). Obviously, you cannot be an expert in all our applications fields, but you need to be curious and service minded such that you can understand enough to provide guidance for applying our technologies efficiently.
You probably have a PhD in medicine, biology, biophysics or related, but you may have gained your experience in nanoparticles some other way. We provide novel and unique capabilities, which means that the sales process is very much about finding out what the core unsolved questions are, and how we can provide new perspectives. You have an eye for how we can help and how we also can create a profitable business for both parties.
