Perform calibration, validation, and maintenance of laboratory and production equipment, including but not limited to pH meters, balances, pressure sensors, temperature controllers, and analytical instruments.
Develop and execute calibration protocols and procedures in compliance with GMP, FDA, and ISO 17025 standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve calibration-related issues to ensure equipment operates within specified tolerances.
Maintain detailed and accurate calibration records, certificates, and documentation for audit readiness.
Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to schedule and conduct equipment calibrations and maintenance.
Support investigations related to equipment performance, deviations, and non-conformances.

The role is a COE (Centre of Excellence) Engineer where the key tasks are:
•Implementing, planning and ensuring effective maintenance of laboratory equipment in an industry that is in constant development and change
• Performing preventive as well as remedial maintenance.
• Coordinating, planning and following up with customers and suppliers on status of work.
• Troubleshooting and analysis of the needs of the system.
You will work in both smaller and larger teams and independently with a lot of personal responsibility. There are opportunities for professional development as we handle many different instruments.
The equipment you will support is wide ranging including complex electro-mechanical instrumentation eg. LC, SFC, Electronics and mechanics with controls and rules fault correction. Freeze dryers, roller evaporators, scales, centrifuges, mass spectrometers, chromatography, vacuum pumps, flash systems and clean water equipment.
Please note we are looking for a technician who can repair and maintain laboratory equipment. This is NOT a research position, however, it is advantageous to have a background in the science to understand the lab processes.
