Are you interested in assuring safe and high-quality products from all over the world? We are looking for our next colleague, a Quality data and regulatory Affairs Specialist to join the QEHS, Customer & Consumer and Regulatory team within Paulig.

In this role you will be an important part of securing product information and packaging content. You will be responsible for providing needed quality data to run various business processes and product development projects.

This is a permanent position, and you will be located at Pauligs Swedish office in Mölndal. Your team colleagues are located in Sweden, UK and Belgium and you will report to Head of Quality Customer & Consumer and Regulatory Affairs, located in Belgium.

Job description

• Participation in product development and/or marketing projects, providing quality knowledge and support within the area of regulatory affairs
• Coordination of risk assessments of changes/new raw material, new products, traded goods etc
• Secure accurate quality product information for new and existing products. Interpret and respond to regulatory questions to resolve issues
• Accountable for packaging control: verification of ingredient list, declarations and product claims, verification of fulfillment of regulatory requirements
• Monitor, and communicate EU regulatory requirements (food law, labeling, food safety, food contact materials) and communicate this to the relevant stakeholders
• Supporting the customer relations department, answering product related questions from customers and consumer liaison

Knowledge and experience

• University degree in Bio engineering, food science or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in food industry
• Experience in QEHS management systems.
• Ability to interpret and implement QEHS legislation.
• Fluency in English

We are looking for a Food Safety and Quality Engineer to join our QEHS team within Paulig Group, Sweden. In this role you will work with our famous brands Santa Maria and Risenta.
This position is responsible for releasing and approving raw material that we use in our factories, as well as releasing traded products that we buy from producers around the world. You will be in close contact with the supply and material planning teams as well as sourcing managers and our laboratory in Mölndal. This is a key function to secure safe and high-quality products being delivered to us, and as this is a central role within Supply chain, good communication skills are needed.
This position is a temporary position for approximately 9-12 months and will be located in our office in Mölndal. You will be part of a team of 8 colleagues and will report to the QEHS Mixing & Traded Manager.
Job description
Responsible for raw material and traded items analysis and releasing of raw materials and traded items on time.
Support receiving inspection, block and release of products in ERP system.
Drive non-conformality work related to incoming control.
Work with Supplier and Paulig specifications for raw material and traded goods.
Responsible for fulfillment of all legal information to fulfill customer requirements and questionnaires.
Implement & harmonize of the systems related to Food Safety, Legal and Customer requirements
Responsible for fulfillment of legal information to respond to customer requirements and questionnaires
Secure integration in compliance with international standards and requirements from relevant parties and authorities
Secures company compliance on labeling regulations
Keep the documents and procedures related to the function and department within quality and food safety up to date in the ERP and document handling systems
Support factories in implementation of legal and QEHS standards as well as continuous improvement activities

Required knowledge and experience
University degree in food science or equivalent.
Food Safety regulation skills.
Experience in QEHS management systems.
Experience in implementing and developing QEHS management standards.
Experience in food manufacturing processes.
Ability to interpret and implement QEHS legislation.
Fluent in English and Swedish.
