We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled Security Operations Engineer to join our growing Security Operations team part of Essity’s global Information Security team. This is a hands-on technical role ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity, incident response, and threat detection.

Job Description:

As a Security Operations Engineer, you will play a critical role in protecting our digital assets by developing, implementing, and maintaining robust cybersecurity controls that align with industry standards and best practices. You will work closely with our external SOC and internal cross-functional teams to identify vulnerabilities, implement security measures, and respond to security incidents.
The geographical scope of role responsibilities is global, but the position is in Gothenburg, Sweden with possible alternative locations in Lisbon, Portugal or Munich, Germany or in Dunstable, UK.
 

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain operational procedures for cybersecurity tools to ensure consistency and scalability.
• Configure, manage, and automate cybersecurity tools to support monitoring, detection, and incident response.
• Research emerging threats and analyze threat intelligence reports to produce actionable items that enhance the organization’s detection and prevention capabilities.
• Develop and continuously tune detection rules, use cases, and alerting logic in SIEM, EDR, and other security platforms to improve threat visibility.
• Collaborate with IT and infrastructure teams to implement preventive controls, support remediation efforts, and reduce overall cyber risk.
• Provide pragmatic, risk-based recommendations to address identified vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and control gaps.
• Participate in cross-functional incident response efforts, contributing to containment, investigation, and resolution of security incidents.

* Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with IT experts across the organization
* Comfortable operating in large, complex environments

Overview
The Information Security Team establishes and manages Essity Group’s information security on behalf of our CIO. Security is governed and managed through Essity Information Security Management System (ISMS). An Information Security Controller has a broad responsibility to cover tasks in all parts of the ISMS. The Controller reports to Director Information Security.
Generally, each team member’s responsibility is defined annually and is assigned based on Essity’s current risk exposure, the team member’s competences and individual development goals.
What you will do
Your main responsibilities:
Continuous technology and information risk watch.
Risk management; provide security guidance to the company including IT colleagues.
Manage incidents and service requests addressed through the service desk system.
Continuous improvement our security services based on our risk portfolio.
IT security governance and monthly monitoring; give directions and following up through compliance management.
Compile reports to IT Management providing assurance that information security is being adequately addressed.

Furthermore, this position will specifically be responsible for the information security audits accomplished on behalf of Essity’s Internal Audit function. You will in this role be travelling, shorter trips to approximately 20 Essity sites per year. The sites are all over the world, but mostly in Europe. Depending on your career aspirations you will then have the possibility to take ownership and responsibility of the full security audit service.  
Who you are:
University degree in computer science or risk management
Ideally you have some years of experience within Information Security but applications from newly graduated are more than welcome, with advantage if you have taken information security or risk management courses.

We appreciate CISSP certification or other proof of experience and competence.

Represent the full supply chain organization in assigned Feasibility Studies.

Take overall responsibility for planning and execution of production system validations in assigned projects, including definition of acceptance criteria
Secure manufacturability aspects in assigned projects, resulting in a minimized investment need, reduced manufacturing complexity, reduced size change over times, etc.
Provide input to Capex requests documentation regarding full technology scope including equipment cost.
Manage technology related intellectual property topics within projects. Both by securing that proposed solutions are not infringing external Intellectual Property rights as well as capturing any opportunity for filing new Essity patents.

Who you are
Key Competencies
University Degree in Project Management, Science, Mechanical, Electrical or related fields
Experience from manufacturing operations, technology and/ or R&D (Preferably 5-7 years but there is an openness for different levels). Suitable backgrounds for candidates for this role are technical managers, project managers, industrial engineers, production managers, process engineers or department manager (or other positions with an experience of technology development in manufacturing companies)
Commercial and financial knowledge to prepare, manage and forecast operational and CAPEX requests
International work orientation or experience
Experience from external supplier relations (not mandatory)
Experience in quality assurance methods (E.g. Six Sigma)
Experience in loss analysis and problem-solving methods
Experience in managing a multi-functional international team (even not direct reports) in challenging work environments
Fluency in English, both verbal and written skills

As part of the Global team working in an international environment it's also required that successful candidate is to be able to take strong ownership to passionately and ambitiously deliver on or beyond agreed goals and aspirations. ·        Ability to travel 60 days per year on an international basis
Who you are
·        University degree in relevant field, for example Engineering or Manufacturing
·        5-10 years of experience in Quality and/or Engineering roles with close relations to customers and suppliers
·        Minimum 5 years experience from Manufacturing/Supply Chain

About the Role
The Business Services Controller performs controls and analysis of the financial performance of the service units. This position will report to the Director of Finance and Control, Global Operational Services, on a fixed term contract for 12 months initially. However, for the right person there might be a good chance of extension or possibly staying within the organization but in a different role.
What You Will Do
Finance Business Partner for one of the GBS region/service lines
Facilitate GOPS financial closing and planning process including quality reviews and deviation analysis
Design and maintain the master data flow for GOPS primary costs to ensure transparency and sound basis for decision making
Contribute to defining reporting guidelines, instructions and content in alignment with Group Finance
Optimize and harmonize the GOPS finance and control processes
Collaborate across various stakeholders within GOPS and other Essity uni

Who You Are
Bachelor's degree or higher level of academic degree (preferably in business or economics)
1-5 years of relevant work experience
Advanced excel skills
Fluent in English (written and verbal)
Experience in ERP system (eg, SAP) is an advantage

Overview
At Essity our global IT Services team is now recruiting IT Developer Application Integration who will contribute to the delivery of Essity’s development work in area of application integration.
About the Role
This is an interesting and challenging position where you will be part of a team which is responsible for the development of an integration layer, the development of interfaces from various customer facing platforms and digital applications towards SAP ECC backend.
To design, maintain and support solutions in our IT business services and move Essity IT Services to the next level of application lifecycle is key of success. This includes developing of concepts and solutions, coordinating the internal design and supporting existing solutions to help businesses achieve their goals. 
What You Will Do
To provide day-to-day support for existing EDI solutions without supervision.
To manage onboarding of new Trading Partners
To support the teams ITIL activities; including Incident and Service Request fulfilment
To collaborate with business, development teams, partners, business analysts and architects to understand the implications of new development requests and maximize harmonization across the organization.
To support business and IT capabilities for managing and integrating different technical solutions in a heterogeneous landscape.
To performs the setup of communication channels with business partners and develop mappings.
Analyze EDI Guidelines from the business partners and match to the Essity processes.
Participate in international projects

Who you are
You have university degree in computer science, management information systems, or related discipline.
Strong knowledge of EDI standard (EDIFACT/EANCOM, ANSI, UBL, and Tradecoms)
Knowledge of network communication protocols, e.g. secure protocols such as AS2, HTTPS, SFTP.
Proven experience in setups for the retail and public administrations sector throughout Europe.
Three years of experience in SAP PO.
Experience in Seeburger adapters and Seeburger mapping preferred.
SAP IDOC handling and User exits understanding.

Furthermore, you have proven overall knowledge in SAP SD processes (preferably in Order to Billing) and fluent in English, both written and oral.

About the role

What You Will Do
You will work closely with key stakeholders in the business to identify analytics use cases. This involves working closely with data domain experts and business experts to understand their data and insight needs.
You will create insights through applying data mining tools like classifiers, regression analysis, decision trees, machine learning and neuronal networks.
For this role it is important to maintain a good link between data domain experts, business people and IT specialists like Data Scientists and Data Engineers to delivery analytics projects. You will work with Power BI when delivering the insights to the organization. You will also work closely with our GBS Service Excellence team and our GBS process leaders.
As this role is new to the Financial Services stream you will have great opportunities to develop the data analytics field and also the role over time. You will have the possibility to influence and build up this work area.
What you need
0-5 years experience in data analytics.
University degree or equivalent in Information Technology
Experience in data mining and machine learning.
Good knowledge of classic data bases, Databricks, Python, TensorFlow or similar
Holistic thinking and an interest in understanding the full value chain
Communication skills in big projects and multi-cultural environment
Customer driven
Proven ability to have responsibility for daily customer interaction and delivery
Experience in working in virtual teams is an advantage
Basic knowledge in Finance processes with > 1-2 years working experience from Finance departments

The Global Packaging Development Engineer will be responsible for both the development and optimization of brand packaging solutions for primary, secondary and tertiary packaging components. The scope of the Global Packaging Development Engineer goes across all Essity business categories and geographies and includes interaction on a professional level with packaging suppliers and internal stakeholders from marketing, sales, product development, category management, sourcing, logistics and manufacturing, driving company goals and objectives. The position is preferably located in Gothenburg (Sweden), Ismanning or Mannheim (Germany) and you will report to the Global Packaging Development Director.
In addition, as Global Packaging Development is a relatively new function within Essity R&D, we also expect you to strongly contribute to improving our processes and way-of-working, identifying knowledge gaps and filling them through enabling projects, developing new methods and tools, and defining new key performance indicators, in our journey of becoming a best-in-class R&D Packaging Team.

Main Tasks
Work in the innovation projects to ensure the development of optimum quality packaging with maximum speed to market and effective cost management in line with global brand packaging strategies.
Support regional and global marketing teams on new product launches; specifically implementing new package designs, innovations and machine acceptance trials.
Manage the development of global primary, secondary and tertiary packaging components and deliver specifications for both packaging innovations and re-design of packaging to support product changes and line extensions.
Provide and communicate technical input and recommendations on all packaging-related matters and technical training and development to all appropriate areas.
Set and improve the packaging specification parameter framework (QPack) for different materials and improve way-of-working for packaging development processes.
Identify and develop innovative packaging concepts including materials, packaging format, print technology and brand assurance devices, with potential business benefits.
Proactively develop, maintain and improve working relationships with manufacturing, product development, marketing, sales, category management, logistics and sourcing.
Manage R&D Packaging Team enabling projects.
Use a systematic approach to analyze data and suggests corrective actions to optimize current packaging solutions in terms of cost, functionality and process without affecting the value of the product.
Perform root cause shipping and warehouse damage analysis and any relevant testing needed.
Lead factory/business teams focused on packaging optimization, understanding the interaction among all the factors that influence the results; working on details with the big picture in mind.

         
Key Competencies
Master's Degree required, preferably in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other relevant field
A minimum of 3-5 years of industrial experience, working with various forms of packaging development
Experience from manufacturing environment and packaging machinery relative to line trials, the packaging process and packaging integrity/performance issues
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
Experience with logistics optimization is preferred
Experience with SAP, Adobe Illustrator, Tops/Cape, AutoCad is an advantage

What You Will Do

3-5 years of relevant working experience in technical product development in a multinational environment

Overview
The Information Security Team establishes and manages Essity Group’s information security on behalf of our CIO. Security is governed and managed through Essity Information Security Management System (ISMS). An Information Security Controller has a broad responsibility to cover tasks in all parts of the ISMS. The Controller reports to Director Information Security.

Generally, each team member’s responsibility is defined annually and is assigned based on Essity’s current risk exposure, the team member’s competences and individual development goals.

What you will do

Your main responsibilities:
Continuous technology and information risk watch.
Risk management; provide security guidance to the company including IT colleagues. Support and follow up on remediating activities.
Manage incidents and service requests addressed through the service desk system.
Continuous improvement of the ISMS.
Evolve Essity’s information security capabilities consistent with the risk portfolio including security awareness activities.
IT security governance and monthly monitoring; give directions and following up through compliance management.
Conduct internal information security audits on locations and services based on Essity’s information security standards.
Compile reports to IT Management providing assurance that information security is being adequately addressed.


Furthermore, this position will specifically be responsible for the information security audits accomplished on behalf of Essity’s Internal Audit function. You will after 6-12 month take full responsibility for the security audit service and most of the security audits. You will be travelling, shorter trips to approximately 20 Essity sites per year. The sites are all over the world, but mostly in Europe. 

Who you are

We appreciate CISSP certification or other proof of experience and competence.

Key Competencies

Who You Are
Masters degree in chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology or equivalent
Experience in relevant product safety field and at least 15 credits on university level in human toxicology or equivalent

Main Tasks
Ensure state-of-the-art medical indication knowledge about incontinence care, as needed for planning and conducting clinical studies

Interpret and report the study results towards internal stakeholders

Key Competencies
University degree in medical, pharmaceutical or life science with solid skills in scientific working
3 years of relevant work experience in clinical research in the healthcare business
Initial experience with applicable regulations for clinical studies with medical devices (MDR, ISO14155, ICH-GCP, FDA regulation)
Knowledge in incontinence care or a similar healthcare area
Knowledge and / or experience with biostatistics software and application
Preferably experience in the clinical evaluation (according to MEDDEV) of medical devices
Fluent English, orally and in writing
Preferably Swedish knowledge, orally and in writing

About the role
We offer you the chance to become part of the Customer Service Team, which is a part of the Regional Business Logistics team - a function within the Sales and Marketing organisation for Consumer Goods at Essity. International Business Project Manager
At Essity we are seeking an International Business Project Manager (IBPM) for our Project Management Office (PMO) Personal Care, (PC) where the most complex and high profile of Essity’s Supply Chain and business change projects are planned and executed. About the role
We offer you the chance to become part of the Customer Service Team, which is a part of the Regional Business Logistics team - a function within the Sales and Marketing organisation for Consumer Goods at Essity. Manage continuous improvement activities/projects with to add value in product design and manufacturing processes.
